Delta Force TTK Calculator
Simulate shots-to-kill and time-to-kill against any armor tier before you spend a single Koena. Set your gun, pick the ammo and the plate you are facing, and see exactly where the armor breaks.
How to use the TTK calculator
- Enter your weapon's torso damage and fire rate — both are visible on the gun's stats screen in the loadout menu.
- Pick your ammo tier and the armor tier you expect to face. Not sure what tiers mean? Read ammo & armor tiers explained.
- Set the target's remaining armor durability if you know it — default is a fresh plate.
- Choose hit area and range damage to match how you actually shoot, then hit Simulate.
How it works
The calculator runs a two-phase simulation using the community-documented tier-gap penetration model. While the plate holds, each shot deals only the penetrated share of its damage to health, and the blocked share chips armor durability. Once durability hits zero, every shot lands at full damage.
gap = ammoTier − armorTier pen = penetration chance by gap (e.g. same tier ≈ 50%) flesh/shot = dmg × (pen + (1 − pen) × 0.30) → while armor holds armor/shot = dmg × (1 − pen) × (1 − 0.30) → durability drained shots = shotsToBreak + ceil(remaining ÷ dmg) → after armor breaks TTK (ms) = (shots − 1) × 60000 ÷ RPM
This is a model, not leaked game code: the penetration table, blocked-damage share and hit-area multipliers are community estimates that change with patches. The exact numbers are documented on the methodology page so you can audit every input. What the model gets right — and what matters in raids — is the relationship: tier gap decides kills, and broken plates stop soaking.
FAQ
How is TTK calculated in Delta Force?
TTK = (shots to kill − 1) × 60,000 ÷ fire rate (RPM). The hard part is shots to kill against armor: your ammo tier versus the target's armor tier decides how much of each bullet's damage actually reaches the operator's health pool. This calculator simulates it shot by shot.
Does ammo tier really matter more than raw damage?
Against unarmored targets, raw damage and fire rate decide everything. Against Tier 3+ armor, the tier gap dominates: under-tier ammo loses so much damage to the plate that a lower-damage, higher-tier round often kills faster. Run both through the calculator to compare your exact gun.
Why does same-tier ammo only penetrate about half the time?
Community testing after the penetration rebalance reports roughly 50% penetration on matching tiers, down from about 75% earlier in the game's life — while being one tier above armor gives about 75%. These values change with patches, so check the Methodology page for what is currently assumed and verify against your own tests.
Does armor durability affect TTK?
Yes. Every blocked shot chips the plate. The calculator takes armor durability as an input: a half-broken Tier 4 plate soaks far fewer shots than a fresh one, which is why shooting the same armored target can take noticeably longer mid-raid.
Do headshots go through armor?
Headshot damage multipliers vary by helmet and ammo and are not officially published, so this tool treats the multiplier as an input you control. The default is a community estimate — set it to your own tested value for accurate results.
